Loved it. Incidentally, the man this might be aimed at, Michael O'Leary CEO of "no-frills" airline Ryanair, sounds off about global warming occasionally. Of course, he is treated by the media as some sort of guru because he is rich and successful (think of Donald Trump, but skinnier). The usual shite "They can't predict the weather etc." ... O'Leary fears carbon tax on jet fuel.

Brilliant, still trying to pick myself up off the floor but,
I now need to wash the screen and get a new keyboard fixed up. Good news is that will be cheaper than one of those "50p" flights.
I bet a certain Mr Michael ain't pleased. Fecking good!
Wow...this blog is STILL running? I see the same inbred commenters as many months ago. Pile on, folks!!
"... if we learn that the world’s greenhouse gas emissions in 2000 were 34 billion tons of CO2-equivalent per year, then we can instantly note, without a calculator, that the average emissions per person are 5 or 6 tons of CO2-equivalent per person per year. This rough answer is not exact, but it’s accurate enough to inform interesting conversations. For instance, if you learn that a round-trip intercontinental flight emits nearly two tons of CO2 per passenger, then knowing the average emissions yardstick (5-and-a-bit tons per year per person) helps you realize that just one such plane-trip per year corresponds to over a third of the average person’s carbon emissions."

But the most important test is to take them on tour and see if you can bear to spend time with them.

Of all possible subjects, travel is the most difficult for an artist, as it is the easiest for a journalist.

Well ok, but Eli says the one on Climate Zork is better
Having travelled to Harare I can only say that the fares would want to be cheap.
Like Eli I prefer the magic spells
Johnno
Saw this one before I saw that one
...and I suspect it's Lagos, not Harare or Entebbe if you want that magic spell
OK, turn the indecipherable Recapchta back on.
