Messenger Has Arrived
The Messenger Probe has arrived at Mercury and been inserted into orbit. Science starts 4/4. Dad was born the year of the Wright brothers first flight. Eli is impressed.

Very glad it made it, even though the mission missed deadlines, was delayed and over budget. Funny how everyone forgets that when things work out.
Let's hope for some good science since it'll be years before Bepi-Colombo ever gets there (ESA is even better than NASA at delays and overruns).
Looking forward to the eye candy in a few weeks.
