Down along under Hill, shining in the sunlight, Waiting on the doorstep for the cold starlight, There my pretty lady is, River-woman's daughter, Slender as the willow-wand, clearer than the water. Old Tom Bombadil water-lilies bringing Comes hopping home again. Can you hear him singing? Hey! Come merry dol! derry dol! and merry-o, Goldberry, Goldberry, merry yellow berry-o! Poor old Willow-man, you tuck your roots away! Tom's in a hurry now. Evening will follow day. Tom's going home home again water-lilies bringing. Hey! come derry dol! Can you hear me singing?
Hop along, my little friends, up the Withywindle! Tom's going on ahead candles for to kindle. Down west sinks the Sun: soon you will be groping. When the night-shadows fall, then the door will open, Out of the window-panes light will twinkle yellow. Fear no alder black! Heed no hoary willow! Fear neither root nor bough! Tom goes on before you. Hey now! merry dol! We'll be waiting for you!
Hey! Come derry dol! Hop along, my hearties! Hobbits! Ponies all! We are fond of parties. Now let the fun begin! Let us sing together!
Eli Rabett is a not quite failed professorial techno-bunny, a chair election from retirement, at a wanna be research university that has a lot to be proud of but has swallowed the Kool-Aid. The students are naive but great and the administrators vary day-to-day between homicidal and delusional. His colleagues are smart, but they have a curious inability to see the holes that they dig for themselves. Prof. Rabett is thankful that they occasionally heed his pointing out the implications of the various enthusiasms that rattle around the department and school. Ms. Rabett is thankful that Prof. Rabett occasionally heeds her pointing out that he is nuts.

pony lore link is broken it appears ...
word verification is "phoje", sorta like a spanish phonetic version of "phooey"!
Eli is being so nice and helpful, some might think he's after something. ;)
No ponies!
Never a disappointed customer at Eli's.
Fixed the link. Thanks
But ... spring has sprung!
The long cold nights with nothing to do but carve data horses has passed.
Now the willows burst with pussies and columbines reveal their hairy flower.
Poor Eli. Carving ponies when the sun warms the soul and the wind blows gentle kisses.
Eli has been discussing the matter with Ms. Rabett. There is a possibility of reaching a satisfactory conclusion
Glad to hear it and thanks for all the ponies!
