I love Sandra Boynton's books, I would recommend them to anyone with very small children. You don't see them so much in bookshops here in the UK but can get them from Amazon.
"Blue Hat, Green Hat", "Moo, Baa, La La La" and "Hippos Go Berserk" are all great but my favourite is "The Going To Bed Book", it's just lovely.
It's been over 30 years since we were in the market for kiddie books, but we bought several of hers. It's nice to see she's been able to make a lifelong career out of it.
