Scrotum Returns

Run, do not walk, over to Hot Topic, where Scotum, Mycroft and Ethon save the Laird from the Chicago Mob
High up on the Clock Tower of the Palace of Westminster a huge golden eagle stretched its wings and preened an out of place feather. Below its razor sharp talons the clock chimed the quarter hour. Aethon was ready for action.

  1. Good gracious that was funny. I think we should all chip in and buy some Moncton haberdashery for our Kiwi pal as a thank-you.

  2. See? When someone asks, isn't there any _benefit_ to global warming, we can point to these charming stories.

  3. Speaking of laughs, there a new theory explaining why water evaporates from the oceans. What we thought we knew about this process turns out to be wrong. Instead, evaporation turns out to be similar to the atomic oxygen erosion experienced by spacecraft in LEO; water molecules are knocked off the surface of the ocean by atoms and molecules impinging from the atmosphere itself. Water vapor is then carried over land as the surface of the planet slides under the atmosphere.

  4. State Legislature Gets Into Act

"So impressed with the ability of NC-20 to put an end to sea-level rise single-handedly, the North Carolina Senate decided to go one step further and legislate it away.

In late April a revised version of a bill from the state House surfaced in the Senate that would enshrine NC-20's view. This new bill [pdf] would:

    * limit sea-level rise to historical rates circa 1900,
    * specify that sea-level rise may be extrapolated linearly to estimate future rates of rise, and
    * disallow consideration of scenarios with accelerated rates of sea-level rise.

Should this legislation come to fruition, North Carolina would be planning for a sea-level rise of about one foot rather than the scientifically projected three feet by the end of the century."

Next month, Gravity is legislated away to reduce injuries and deaths.

Ah, I see the good Dr. and ace mathturbator Nicola Scafetta is given prominent place on the NC-20 committee's website.

  6. Dr. Jay Cadbury, phd.

    @eli

you know education is now BIG education and textbooks are now BIG textbook. I bet we won't hear a damn thing about that though because you're super partisan.

I'm sure all of the loyal followers hear are just furious that Jamie Dimon lost $2 billion dollars of privately held money, imagine all of the crappy programs or teacher pensions it could have gone to.

Obama has spent more money than Bush already, and he's only been in office for 3.9 years!

read it weep, Eli. No spinning here, all of this data comes from the us treasury department.

so we've fixed a 4 trillion dollar mistake with a 10 trillion dollar solution. Obama couldn't have done better if he were a professor himself...wait...o ho ho ho ho!

  7. I can't decide if it's a real bot, or a human being doing a damned fine impression of one.

  8. If his neck will fit into it, and Ethon provides airmail delivery to Kiwiland, I will cheerfully give Gareth the Monckton shirt off my back.
