Steven Chu, Nobel Prize winner, current Director of Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory, will be nominated to become Secretary of Energy in the Obama administration
Yes, but the critical, indeed only important question is this: was he elected to both the National Physics Honor Society and the National Mathematics Honor Fraternity? (like climate science superstar James Peden)

Chu should never even have been considered for the job (to say nothing of the Nobel)
