A list for Morano


UPDATE:  Jim Prall has taken this a whole lot further.  He has an introduction saying what he has done and then, of course the list with the number of cites to the top four papers from each of the WGI authors, and if you want to recognize them on the street, another with photos


Like John Hersey Eli writes a list of 619 climate scientists for Morano, the IPCC WGI authors. The Rabett has listed these in alphabetical order and used Google Scholar to find the papers written by the first five eleven. We suggest the same exercise if you have any issues. Unlike the 400 Club (a list with links) these are real climate scientists not wanna bes, TV weather guys and girls, and the occasional gardener. Known bloggers in RED they must be important.     A quick google search can often demonstrate clearly that they accept the consensus:

    Sometimes it's an interview like this, on other occasions they have a personal website that reveals their thoughts on the topic.

    A month or two back I did similar google searching against authors of papers in volume 20 issue 20, Journal of Climate to see how many authors accepted consensus vs denied it. Of the seven authors whom I could find a personal website or interview giving their point of view, all seven accepted the consensus.

    Interestingly none of those seven are on this list, which only goes to show we must be spoilt for choice. Unlike inhofe who clearly had to scrape the barrel.

  12. I, personally, enjoy the over the top rhetoric used by Morano. But I must say he is better at the hyperbolic rhetoric - and has more energy - than our blog host.

    I'd say in the rhetoric game geared toward the under-IQ'd, he's having everyone for lunch.

    The 20% of the population that occupies the reality-based community needs no help with his bullsh*t. The 10-15% of the population whose identity relies on denying humans can change the virnmint think he's eating everyone for lunch, and the ~50%-ish of the population who may think about such things once in a while and who may have tried to get something out of the comment thread left long ago.

    Jus' sayin'.
