Something Old
It looks like Pat Michaels has folded New Hope Environmental Services. Pat's World Climate Report is dead for nine months and it Pat and Chip Knappenberger have moved on to Cato probably in late Fall 2012. Amusingly Cato advertises that Pat
Michaels was a contributing author and is a reviewer of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007.Something to be proud of. As head honchos for Cato's Global Science Report, Eli eagerly awaits Pat and Chip hiring out for whatever needs to be denied. Someone has to take S. Fred's niche.
Whatever. Eli must really get up to date.
UPDATE: So in the shower, Eli remembered something. New Hope was a registered VA corporation and thus the State Corporation Commission web site would tell the tale, and it did: TERMINATED 7/31/2013.

But S. Fred hasn't take up the horizontal position six feet down yet. Of course, we'll never know since he will still be listed as running SEPP.
I see that Lindzen is now listed as "Distinguished Senior Fellow, Center for the Study of Science." Fresh (formal) role for him?
Steve, that's a new role at the CATO institute, since August 1st this year.
Funnily, according to the CATO website he "will focus his work on the interaction between climate science and policymakers, and the biases that are introduced into science when it becomes a government-funded enterprise".
CATO funding probably introduces other biases...
