OK, I admit that I barely knew who Lady Gaga was. So after watching the parody, I watched a Youtube video of her "Bad Romance". I came to three conclusions: the parody had far far lower production values than the original, Lady Gaga's music wasn't as bad as I expected, and Lady Gaga is a genius at self-promotion, on a par with Madonna.
