The Motor Trend selection is particularly notable in view of the usual reaction of car magazine editors to any mention of CO2 or fuel economy. They tend to froth at the mouth. The BMW Car Club of America puts out an otherwise good magazine called Roundel. The editorial reaction to any mention of CO2 is pretty apoplectic. Letters to the editor run the gamut.
