Vote Early, Vote Brian

Is what Dad Rabett used to advise. Eli knows that there are a number of Rabett Run readers who live and vote in the California Santa Clara Valley Water District where Brian Schmidt is running for a position as a commissioner. Eli would like to encourage those who live in the district to vote for Brian who has consistently demonstrated that he is both sensible and knowledgeable.

    On the topic of political candidates . . .

    Perhaps it's been said elsewhere, but Arthur Robinson, he of Oregon Petition fame, is the Republican candidate for one of Oregon's five congressional seats. He was on Rachel Maddow on Thursday, and the expected lunacy ensued.
